Admissions Process
(Now Online)

A Message from the Director of Enrollment Management

Dear Prospective Students and Families,

Thank you for your interest in becoming part of the Tremont School Community.  We are pleased that you are considering applying to our school.  In this time of “social distancing” and school closures, Tremont School has emerged as an unexpected leader in distance learning.  Our students continue to take classes in all subjects, working with their teachers and peers everyday from home using the latest conferencing platforms.

To ensure all families have an opportunity to apply for admission during the COVID-19 response period Tremont School will continue accepting applications throughout the summer for the 2020-2021 school year.

Apply Online, Interview Online, Get Admitted Online!

The application process has now been moved entirely online.  First, fill out the application for admission and submit all supporting materials, then participate in an online student interview, finally receive an admissions decision.  A completed application includes:

  • Application for admissions
  • Transcripts for the last 3 years
  • Math Teacher Evaluation
  • English Teacher Evaluation

  • Letter of Recommendations
  • IEP
  • Other relevant tests and evaluations

A small, private Middle and High School located in Concord, MA, Tremont School’s focused and innovative approach to learning already offers big advantages in the classroom. Now those advantages have ensured their students’ immediate and seamless transition to successful home learning.

Tremont School offers educational advantages like an extremely low 5:1 student to teacher ratio with teachers who truly appreciate students as both learners and individuals, a flexible curriculum driven by students’ interests to inspire deep dives into passion-driven learning, a commitment to developing core learning skills or “competencies” to encourage students to take ownership of the learning process, and a smart use of technology to engage students in hands-on 21st-century learning.
